We offer intensive training courses in Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) of 200 hours and 300 hours, rooted in the traditional practices of Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga. Madhav Adhikari, also known as Atma Swami, is the visionary founder and chairman of Shanti Yoga Academy. His journey into yoga began at the age of 10, overcoming initial disapproval from his parents by trading vegetables from the family garden for early morning classes. Undeterred, Madhav’s determination won his family’s support, leading him to India and Nepal for a teacher training certificate at the Himalayan Yoga Academy, guided by Swami Yogsubod.
Returning to Nepal, the land of the Himalayas, Madhav delved deeper into Kundalini and Hatha yoga, honing his skills under Swamiji’s guidance. In 2017, he realized his childhood vision by establishing Shanti Yoga Academy, a spiritual haven.
For a decade, Madhav financially supported the Ashram by teaching yoga at Manaslu Public School in Kathmandu. His reputation as an exceptional yoga teacher earned him opportunities to teach in Nepal, India, Bangkok, Thailand, including conducting yoga teacher training courses.
